In 2017 The Coca-Cola Company launched a new beverage, Minute Maid® SLUSHIE, that would be available at McDonald’s® restaurants.

I was asked to design the logos, initial product visuals and supporting promotional materials.

I began with the design and development of the logo, which included the product flavor and a corresponding color specific to each flavor.

With the logo designed and developed, I then created all the different logo flavor versions as they became available.

The program also expanded into Canada in 2019 so versions in French were also created.

After a photoshoot of glasses with each product flavor, I added the logos to each glass to create the final product mockups to be used to create the promotional materials.

Each glass was shot as a hero for designs where it would be used on its own. A slightly above angle was also shot to match the McDonald’s® food imagery so meal composites could be created.

I also designed and developed supporting materials for the program including Window Posters, Digital Menu Boards, and Toppers for promotion at the restaurants.

To create awareness away from the restaurants a series of Out-Of-Home pieces were created.

This included Billboards, which some also featured other Coca-Cola® beverage deals that were occurring during the summer long promotion.

For a digital presence, Geo Filters were created to create buzz about the promotion.

Lastly, a series of Web Banners and Social Media Ads/Posts were created.

Each year since its launch, as new flavors were added, I created new logos, glass mockups and updated promotional pieces.

Over my career I have been involved in many other product launches including Fanta® Orange at McDonald’s®.

This was the introduction of a new flavor option which involved updating the Fanta® Orange logo and combining it with new glass imagery to create new product beauty shots.

I used these new glass beauty shots to create supporting materials to promote the new products availability.

This included Window Posters, Digital Menu Boards and other supporting promotional pieces.
