This 2019 Talladega® Superspeedway project was initiated by The Coca-Cola Company in partnership with Talladega® and NASCAR® to create a promotion through McDonald’s® restaurants.

Being that Coca-Cola® is the NASCAR® Official Fan Refreshment, it was suitable that a promotional cup was used as the vehicle for this promotion featuring a Talladega® Superspeedway discount tickets offer for an upcoming race.

When a customer upsizes to a large beverage they receive their beverage in this promotional cup that can be redeemed at the ticket counter at the venues main gate, or online at the Talladega® Superspeedway website.

This not only promotes the discount ticket offer and creates customer engagement, but also increases beverage sales and drives traffic to both McDonald’s® and Talladega® Superspeedway.

After creating the cup mockups and food composites so that supporting promotional materials could be created, I designed and developed Window Posters, Kiosks, Digital Menu Boards, Banners, Web Banners, Social Media visual assets and Out-of-Home pieces.

Because this program was used through all day parts at the restaurants, Breakfast and Lunch/Dinner versions of this promotion were created.

Through my career not only have I created many Talladega® Superspeedway promotions, such as the one presented above, but also similar projects for other events for NASCAR®, NCAA®, McDonald’s® All American Games, NFL®, MLB®, Six Flags® and more.

Shown here are examples from the 2018 and 2019 Cedar Fair® Amusement Parks promotions. The 2018 promotion was very successful, so we created an even larger program in 2019.

2018 was the first promotion I did with Cedar Fair® Amusement Parks. The client asked for the design to be like a road trip from one park to the next. They wanted to keep it friendly and fun so I designed the “road sign” theme.
